Cut through a gently rolling forest of umbrella pine trees, Vila Sol is one of the top courses in the Algarve. The original 18 holes played host to the Portuguese Open on two occasions and are a real challenge. The third nine holes were added a few years later and are a little easier, although they still provide a good test.

Vila Sol is situated 24 km to the west of Faro airport and 3 km from the Vilamoura marina.
