The elegant 5 star Principe Felipe Hotel sits in the heart of La Manga Club and is the focal point of the resort. Two of the resort’s three golf courses are situated to one side of the hotel and the tennis academy to the other side. All 185 rooms and 7 suites are generously proportioned and decorted in light meditterranean colours with marble bathrooms. All have balconies or terraces that overlook the gardens, swimming pool or golf courses. As you would expect from a top class hotel, there’s 24 hour room service, an excellent restaurant and a very pleasant piano bar with nightly live music.
AM’s Opinion This is a lovely hotel with a charming ambience and it’s understandable why it’s popular with so many celebrities wanting a relaxing break. If you want a cheaper option consider staying in the 4 star Las Lomas Apartments, which are within walking disance of the hotel, however, if you want to experience the best of what La Manga has to offer then stay in the Principe Felipe Hotel. La Manga Club is situated 35 km to the south of Murcia airport, a driving time of approximately 30 minutes and 120 km to the south of Alicante airport, a driving time of approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. The closest towns are: Los Belones = 4 km La Manga del Mar Menor = 12 km La Union = 13 km Cartagena = 26 km Local Courses
