Description
The Quinta da Ria & de Cima courses run parallel to one another, however they provide different levels of difficulty and one runs along the coastline whereas the other sits inland.
QUINTA DA RIA
18 Holes, Par 72
White Tees = 6053 metres
Yellow Tees = 5910 metres
Red Tees = 4977 metres
Quinta da Ria is the easier of the two courses and has the best views of the coast. It also has more water hazards than de Cima, which come into play on six holes. Many of the holes provide views of the coastline, however it’s the 12th and 13th which are the most spectacular, running along the cliff top. It’s a very enjoyable course.
QUINTA DE CIMA
18 Holes, Par 72
White Tees = 6586 metres
Yellow Tees = 6147 metres
Red Tees = 5032 meters
Quinta de Cima was designed to be the Championship course and at over 600 yards longer it’s a tougher challenge than the da Ria course. Although it doesn’t provide the coastal views that you can enjoy on da Ria, the quality of the layout is arguably better and will be appreciated by lower handicap players.
