The Penha Longa resort is Portugal’s most luxurious golf resort. Nestling in the Sintra hills to the west of Lisbon, the estate was a favourite retreat of the Portuguese Royal family during the 16th & 17th centuries and it still retains some of the fountains and gardens that date back to those times.

Penha Longa is a very impressive resort and the service levels are first class, as is the Penha Longa golf course. If you are planning on entertaining friends or business associates then you should consider a stay at Penha Longa.

The Penha Lonha hotel is situated 30 km to the west of Lisbon airport, a driving time of approximately 35 minutes (outside of the rush hour).
